“Purpose fuels Passion”

Hello I’m Ms. Gamble. I have been teaching art for 2 years, however, I have worked with children for over 4 years with afterschool activities in which I taught art. I moved to Houston 5 years ago and it has been a major life experience professionally and personally. Growing up in a small town and entering a new big city was a cultural environmental change but it's been exciting and adventurous, I gained a lot of insight on how vital it is for an educator to always be prepared for anything at any given movement. Educators are like warriors who are up to take on new challenges being students or situations. Art has been in the center of my life since early age. In addition to being an educator, I have an art business.

Passion for art, and art being a focus it is important to share all the knowledge I have with students. New ideas that pop up in my head, art techniques that I have learned, artists or art I want to share. Whatever I can give through art to my students and give them the best possible education through as many resources I can is my daily goal everyday. As well as my complete best, in which I feel is my duty as an educator. Students deserve the best opportunity for growth, discovery, and success.

Freedom to creatively express themselves drives me daily. Passion and energy for art is what I want students to be engaged with. This nurtures their potential as artists and creative thinkers. As an educator, the goal is build future leaders who can one day bring something new and fresh into the art world that hasn't been seen yet.
